is a helpful book for sales professionals that (thankfully!) breaks away
from the dynamic of going through seven-step techniques and sure fire
strategies to really get at the mindset (mindless-set?) that makes for a
successful salesperson. I felt that the anecdotes and case histories were
very effective in teaching the reader, and that they were well written and
well presented. I also appreciated the realistic tone - for example, the
author acknowledges that most
people accidentally end up in sales, often without realizing what the job
would be like. This real-world tone gives the author instant
credibility, and he speaks from an authoritative but friendly stance."
